HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST SESSION?

Preparing for your first session with a personal trainer involves:

 

  • Setting clear goals: Define what you want to achieve through personal training, whether it's weight loss, muscle gain, improved endurance, or overall health and wellness.

  • Wear appropriate attire: Dress in comfortable workout clothes and supportive footwear to facilitate movement and ensure safety during exercises.

  • Bring any relevant information: Provide your trainer with any medical history, past injuries, or current limitations to help them create a safe and effective workout plan tailored to your needs.

  • Stay hydrated and fueled: Drink water and eat a light, nutritious meal or snack before your session to ensure you have enough energy to perform at your best.

  • Arrive early and mentally prepared: Arrive a few minutes early to fill out any necessary paperwork and mentally prepare yourself for the session ahead, staying open-minded and ready to learn and work hard.
