Slim Gut, Real Talk: My Honest Take on Prebiotics+Probiotics

Let’s get something out of the way: I am not a gut health influencer. I'm just someone who has been having farty, poopy, and no poopy days more often than not.  I have tried a lot of things to get my digestion on track (and not feel like I’m carrying around a balloon animal under my shirt by 2 p.m.).

Probiotics are the “good bacteria” your gut loves. But without food (aka prebiotics), they can’t thrive. Taking probiotics alone? Honestly, it backfired on me. I was shootin bunny pellets out of my bum, was not fun! AND not cute. Once I paired it with prebiotics? Everything changed.

Let’s normalize the fact that how and if you poop is actually a wellness metric. Since starting this combo, I’m way more consistent, without having to drink a glass of Metamucil in desperation. For someone who usually struggles in that department, this is major.

Final Thoughts

I was skeptical at first. I’ve tried gut stuff before and usually ended up bloated and disappointed. But this Slim Gut combo hit different—in a good way. I have been feeling better in my body, less reactive to food, and more regular (which, is the real reason to celebrate).
